Business Network for Woman Managers in Life Sciences

 We are a group of  women managers in

  • biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies
  • in biotechnology-associated companies like venture capital, managemant consultancies and service providers
  • in universities, research institutions, associations...

The Business Network for Women Managers in Life Sciences was founded in 2002 under coordination of  VBU - Vereinigung Deutscher Biotechnologie-Unternehmen (Association of German Biotechnology Companies) and DECHEMA e. V.

Since March 2009, Dagmar Schwertner (BioGenes GmbH, Berlin) manages the Business Network.  Vice Chair is Dr. Susanne Simon (TROCKLE Unternehmensberatung).

The Business Network meets twice a year, discussing various management-relevant topics (carreer, communication, funding, marketing, international business, etc).
